Mir Arif - Managing Director
Mr. Arif co-founded Madison Park Group in 2004 and has been instrumental in driving the strategic growth and direction of the firm. Mr. Arif has executed over 80 fundraising and M&A transactions for high growth companies in a range of sectors including enterprise software, eCommerce, online services and IT/BPO services. Mr. Arif was previously co-founder and Managing Director of GlobalNet Partners LP, a venture capital fund focused on enterprise software and services companies. Prior to GlobalNet, Mr. Arif was a Vice President at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in its Technology Investment Banking Group, where he was involved in advising and financing some of the early pioneers in eCommerce and new media. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mr. Arif was an Associate Director at Peregrine Capital where he developed Peregrine’s corporate finance effort in New York and managed the Private Placements Group in Hong Kong. Mr. Arif has also previously worked in Bear Stearns & Co.’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Oppenheimer & Co.’s Institutional Equity Research Group. Mr. Arif has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University. Mr. Arif is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
