Mir co-founded MPG in 2004 to provide high quality strategic advice to growth-stage software and technology companies. Mir is also the co-founder and Managing Partner of Blue Cloud Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on providing flexible right-sized funding for growth and late stage software companies. Mir has executed over 200 fundraising and M&A transactions for high growth companies in a range of sectors including enterprise software, eCommerce and IT/BPO services.
Mir was previously co-founder and Managing Director of GlobalNet Partners, a venture capital fund focused on enterprise software and tech-enabled services companies. Prior to GlobalNet, Mir was a Vice President at Bear, Stearns & Co. in its Technology Investment Banking Group, where he was involved in advising and financing some of the early pioneers in web-based services, eCommerce and digital media. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mir was an Associate Director at Peregrine Capital where he developed Peregrine’s corporate finance effort in New York and helped manage the Multinational Advisory and Private Placement Group in Hong Kong. Prior to Peregine, Mir worked in Bear Stearns & Co.’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Oppenheimer & Co.’s Institutional Equity Research Group.
Mir has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University. Mir is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).
