November 23, 2020. Madison Park Group is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Ascentage Group and that Ascentage’s Drew Ogden and Jeffrey Herriman have joined MPG as Managing Directors. Mr. Ogden and Mr. Herriman will support MPG’s industrial software and technology practice and are responsible for excellence in design, construction, and asset management technology advisory.
Combined, MPG and Ascentage have completed over 40 successful client assignments in the broader industrial technology and software ecosystem. The partnership solidifies MPG as a leading global industrial technology M&A and capital raising advisor with unrivaled expertise advising technology companies that help architects, designers, engineers, manufacturers, contractors and owner/operators build better and more cost effectively. With the growing trend toward industrialized construction, including offsite construction, pre-fabrication, robotics, and modular building, the combination of MPG and Ascentage is even more relevant.
In addition to significant M&A and capital raising experience, both Mr. Ogden and Mr. Herriman bring unique perspectives as business operators and strategic advisors. About Our New Team Members
Prior to founding Ascentage, Mr. Ogden was the vice president of Legal and Business Development at Softdesk, Inc., a Nasdaq company that developed and distributed CAD software for architects and engineers worldwide. At Softdesk, he was part of the executive management team that took the company public and was responsible for negotiating strategic licensing agreements, spinoffs and multiple acquisitions. Mr. Ogden has also held the positions of in-house counsel and director of international sales at an accounting software company and an operating system software company, respectively. Drew holds a Juris Doctorate from UNH School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Franklin Pierce University. He is a member of the Bar of Massachusetts. Mr. Ogden is also a founder of Ascentage Law, an intellectual property and licensing law firm.
Mr. Herriman has over 30 years international experience in starting, developing, buying/selling and turning around companies and senior management teams as a strategist, deal-maker and “company doctor”. He was responsible for strategy, M&A and information technology at Turner Construction in the early 2000s and had the same roles with W.S.Atkins engineering until 2017. In both cases, he was responsible for incubating new technology enabled ventures and partnering with software, hardware and solution providers of all sizes. Jeff has completed over 50 transactions on buy- and sell-side transaction in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
