Arena Solutions has been acquired by JMI Equity

Arena Solutions, the inventor and leading provider of cloud-based product lifecycle management (PLM) software, has been acquired by JMI Equity, a global software and technology private equity investor.

  • Founded in 2000, Arena has 1,000 customers (with users in 125 countries), including Intuit, Citrix Systems, Nutanix, GoPro, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and eBay
  • Arena invented cloud-based PLM and provides an all-in-one, secure product development platform that unites PLM, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), supply chain collaboration, and Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the design and manufacture of complex electronics
  • Arena simplifies compliance for environmental, FDA, ISO, ITAR, EAR and other regulatory initiatives, particularly in technology, electronics, and life sciences verticals
  • JMI’s Brian Hersman and Suken Vakil will serve on Arena’s board of directors
